Luizzi’s #MoscowEPrix Track Guide

Trulli Formula E Team driver Vitantonio Liuzzi takes a look at this weekends 2.39km Moscow ePrix circuit:

Moscow circuit

“I have to say it looks quite interesting and challenging, even though there are quite a few long straights and a slower more infield section provides a good mix of corners. But also there are three or four parts of the track where overtaking will be possible. Turn 1 and 3 seem like the most obvious spots but also the tight hairpin at Turn 11. It looks like a circuit which will provide a good show for the fans.”

“It will be the first time that I go to Russia and it’s a great achievement for Moscow and Formula E, motorsport is growing really quickly in the country with other racing categories. Also I think the location of the track is very impressive next to the Kremlin, St Basil’s Cathedral and Red Square.”

Blowing hot and cold

“Definitely it’s not the easiest climate to have a track because of the big differences in temperature throughout the year and this will certainly create some bumps on the track but it’s a road in the heart of Moscow so I don’t see there being an issue.”
