After loosing out on victory following his exclusion from the Berlin ePrix, as you would expect, Lucas di Grassi is determined to go all in at the Moscow ePrix to right his title challenge:
“This case is closed for me, I’m fully concentrating on nothing else but Saturday in Moscow,” he said. “I spent time in the simulator together with Daniel (Abt) and intensively prepared for the track. The circuit in Moscow is a challenging combination of fast sections and tight hairpins – both the drivers and the fans are going to have fun with it.”
Meanwhile ABT teammate Daniel Abt cannot wait to return to Formula E action, after making his Le Mans debut in a practice session for Rebellion Racing:
“Moscow is an impressive city and the next highlight on the calendar,” he said. “I’d like to do my bit to ensure that Lucas and I will be making a leap forwards in the teams’ classification.”
… That is because Audi Sport ABT currently find themselves 3rd in the Constructors Championship, just a single point behind second Dragon Racing, so all is still up for grabs.
Lucas Di Grassi currently sits just outside this weekends Formula E FanBoost in 4th place, whilst title rival and current WDC leader Piquet lies 2nd. Be sure to make your opinion count by heading on over to the official FIA Formula E website and casting your vote.
