#BerlinEPrix: Lighting up the Record Books

This weekend’s Berlin ePrix will also play host to an Electric Vehicle world record attempt!… that is, the record for the largest ever parade of EV’s.

The Guinness World Record currently stands at 507 and was set only as far back as September of last year, in Silicon Valley, USA. For a vehicle to qualify it has to be 100 percent electric and city street legal.

Around 550+ vehicles are anticipated to make their way to the Formula E circuit for Saturday and each will need to complete a lap of the circuit in order to be counted and play their part in reaching the new record.

You will be able to follow the events progress through the official FIA Formula E social media account.

With EV sales stronger than ever, It’s clear this is going to become a hotly contested record moving forward!
